Why does Windows 10/8.1 crash when switching to offline mode?
It all started with an update. I don't always work with the internet connected, and I love offline mode, where no one interferes, but here's the problem: in ten it causes a dull hang for a couple of seconds and a reboot. If there is an Internet - the error seemed to have never happened. Now again on the seven - everything is fine, and I put the VHD image for experiments. I start - I am disappointed ... So, I followed the patterns. Such a thing is performed cyclically once every N-th period. Probably in 1, 3 or 5 minutes, because the computer only goes to reboot some time after the Internet is turned off. Tried msconfig "Diagnostic startup". Exactly the same - departure. Tell me please! I already tried 8.1 - the same problem. I can not move permanently because of such a trouble.

Attention!!! SVE-ZHA-CHOK!
On a virtual network card (Oracle VirtualBox) it works like a seven: no problem. Buying a new network card is probably the best solution.

how did you connect the account? Have you created a new one locally or are you using an MS/FB/etc account?
