Why does wall.getReposts return an empty response?

I try through the sandbox with certain parameters - it works.
I try using a direct url with a service access key - it returns:

{"response":{"items":[],"profiles":[],"groups":[]}}

What can be wrong? (errors do not fall out)
I found a similar question , but there is no answer there.
PS I am both the administrator of the public and the creator of the post.

Service tokens call methods not on behalf of the current user, so, alas, there is no access to reposts there. Try calling the method with a custom token ...
