Why does Uncaught SyntaxError: illegal character U+009E appear and how to fix it?

The error occurs when running in Mozilla Firefox version 90.0.
Uncaught SyntaxError: illegal character U+009E
"Site name" at line 1:0.

Tried to catch the bug on Mozilla Firefox 90.0 but was unsuccessful.
