Hello! Tp-Link tl-wr841 v8 with standard firmware does not see pppoe (does not receive ip), at first I thought that I entered the wrong password, double-checked 10 times - everything is correct. I updated the firmware from the manufacturer's website - the same thing. Installed third-party firmware from Gargoyle - pppoe status - disconnected.
The problem is definitely not with the provider. I have a second router - Tp-Link tl-wr841nd and through it everything works fine. The settings for one and the second router are identical. What could be the problem? Thank you!

I can assume that the provider has a MAC address binding.
Try the MAC address of the WAN port from a working router to register on the second one.
