Why does Toad for Oracle hang after selecting a table in a drop down list?

Please tell me why in Toad for Oracle, after Cntr + T, after the schema, a list of tables drops out and even though I select there, even though I print the table myself, after that it always says "Toad for Oracle program has stopped working. A problem has led to the termination of the program. Close this program. " Tried reinstalling and installing a different version of Toad, didn't help. Started yesterday, before that everything was working fine.
