Why does the wifi transmission speed drop in Zyxel keenetic Giga II?

Good afternoon. I have zyxel keenetic Giga II, beeline provider, speed 80Mbps, protocol n.
If I am near the router, the speed is as advertised. But as soon as I move away to the next room, the speed drops to the point that I can’t speak on Skype and won’t open sites. Transmit rate drops to 5 (on my macbook pro). The same applies to all devices in my apartment. The signal from the router is strong.
What could be the problem?

A lot of people complain about problems with the sensitivity and power of the keenetic giga 2. This is a SOHO router, it does not have to be powerful, it is designed for comfortable work in one office room without affecting the neighbors. 150mW with two 5dbm antennas is not enough to break through a reinforced concrete wall. Yes, and on the opposite side, given the channel width of N, there will be a lot of stray interference - try G or B.
If you don’t want to buy a new router, you can purchase an extender like ASUS rt-n12hp
