Why does the Start screen randomly open in Windows 8.1?

The problem is that at a completely random moment when the laptop is running on Windows 8.1, the initial screen (Start) drops out. It doesn’t matter what is happening with the laptop at the moment: idle, active work in any application, Internet surfing, writing a question on the toaster. If text is being typed at this moment, then from a certain character the text begins to be entered into the Windows search. How to fix it? So far, only reinstalling the OS helps (more precisely, rolling back to the factory state), but even this does not always work. Help!
