Why does the site have a slow response time from the server? How to speed up?

Hello. I have a website virtualnyeochki.ru. I check it with this test:
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insi...
And it gives a slow server response time. I am attaching a screenshot. What could be the reason? How to speed up?

I connect almost all scripts and styles through MinifyX, set lazyload, compressed pictures to a minimum. Does not help.
PS site on modx, but to speed up the response from the server, probably, any methods will do (not only for modx).

You can boldly go through the points, your task is to bring it to A (ideally).
Make gzip caching on the server, enable http\2 on the server to reduce the number of requests to the server, gtmetrix also advises you to put your images into a sprite (doubtful in 2019 for such a site), try to reap them.
Google Speed insight is a subjective tool, a general (approximate) analysis of your optimization is done by separate tools, and it is tested under conditions - poor Internet, load, etc.

The server response time is the time the backend is running from the moment a request is received to the moment a response is returned. Scripts, styles and pictures have nothing to do with it at all. Profile the execution of the backend, find out the bottlenecks and optimize them.

@Sanes

Usually it depends on the curvature of the backend and the power / settings of the server.
During this period of time the page is assembled. You can
check the processor like this https://modx.pro/hosting/3432 or https://tools.lite.company/performance/

How much RAM is on the virtual machine? Must be at least 4 gigabytes.
If not VDS, but "virtual hosting" - write to the provider, ask to be moved to another server.
