Why does the server crash when sending via Exim?
Hello! Recently the mailing server with Exim installed started crashing. I don’t know if this is a coincidence or not, but the hoster replaced the processor and after that such problems began to be observed.
The mailing starts, many Exim processes begin to be created, and for some reason they are duplicated in root. When the number of processes exceeds 1000, the RAM runs out, followed by swap and the server crashes. Outside the 25th port is not visible. I didn't find anything suspicious in the logs. The hoster does not want to look for a problem, he refers to the fact that we have not configured something correctly. There are no such problems on two similar servers. What do you advise?
