Why does the scroll lag with gestures?

The laptop has an excellent touchpad, where you can scroll the page with 2 fingers, everything is in order with the drivers, everything works clearly. But not in Visual studio code. In the browser and other programs, scrolling with gestures works fine, and when I open even small files (70 lines) in vscode and try to scroll, it scrolls with sagging and because of this, even the cursor in vs code can freeze for a while. The computer is not loaded, it works in light mode, the RAM is 30% full. I checked for viruses - everything is ok, I don’t even know what the problem could be (Scrolling by holding the slider and the mouse works fine).
