Do large offices always stipulate the use of a specific IDE?
Actually a subject? Prior to that, I worked in an office in which everything was allowed to me because development was not my specialization, for Java, in which I wrote and write VSCode with a bunch of plugins, turning it into almost an IDE (not counting some important parts, but they can be finished if desired ). I feel myself in it like a fish in water, I navigate it faster than I can realize what I'm doing, in short VSCode of the brain. Now I want to get a job specifically as a developer in an enterprise office, with all the ensuing corporate meat grinder. So, are you allowed to write in what you want and is it practiced at all? Or do you still have to screw up Intellij to automatism?

In "enterprise offices" there can be corporate Windows (and it doesn't matter that you are a web developer for Linux servers), corporate security policies, total control, bureaucracy, etc.
In medium-sized companies, software is usually any necessary, but either free, or you need to justify purchase of a license.
Small companies can turn a blind eye to unlicensed software.
In any case, it is better to clarify all this before applying for a job.
