Why does the power supply heat up when the computer is turned off?

There is an assembly based on the Intel SH3200S server motherboard, used as a regular PC. I noticed that when the computer is turned off, the power supply remains warm, as if it were working. There are no power saving settings, WOL, and much more in the BIOS, incl. fan control. As I understand it, this is due to the fact that the server motherboard is partially devoid of functionality due to the fact that it does not work in a proprietary Intel rack-mount case - somewhere on this topic there was a review on some forum, some of the front panel pins are used for work with the case, I have not used them. WOL works, the computer turns on over the network. There is no option to disable this feature in the BIOS. There are suspicions that WOL gives such an effect, because. The PSU is in standby mode. Either I'm wrong and there's just a defect in either the motherboard or the PSU.

Perhaps increased heating is due to the fact that IPMI is activated, which makes it possible to remotely control the system even when the board is turned off.

Check your cooling system! Maybe you have a lot of dust in the cooler inside the PSU!!!
