Why does the picture disappear after starting Ubuntu Server?

Colleagues, tell me. The machine works on Ubuntu Server, administered it on ssh. After the router settings flew off, and ssh access was gone. I connect the monitor to the server - nifiga. I restart, I see: the Asrock logo, then the picture disappears.
How can I return an image?
Mother: asrock d1800b-itx, built-in graphics
UPD.: after nomodeset, the image returned, but nothing on it can be disassembled. Need to install a driver?
