Why does the PC not turn on after replacing the thermal paste on the processor?

After replacing the thermal paste on the processor, the computer does not start.
When I changed the thermal paste, I did not remove the processor itself.
All coolers are spinning and the backlight on the motherboard is on, but nothing is displayed on the screen.
Tried resetting BIOS.
I pulled out all the devices of the system block one by one and tried to turn on the computer, but it still does not start.
I thought somewhere in the KZ building. He pulled out all the components from the case and assembled on the table.
Nothing helped.
Can you tell me what happened to the PC?

Only the processor and memory (or without it, check the beeps).

Remove the cooler, put your finger on the processor, turn on the car for a few seconds. If the percent is heated, it is alive and 5B is supplied to it. If it is cold, then either you accidentally killed him (which is unlikely, but possible), or 5V is not supplied from the PSU.
You can also try to change the PSU to a guaranteed working one.

Maybe they accidentally killed some component with static, it happens.

Trouble with freezing on loading the BIOS is supposed to be treated by analyzing POST codes (I recently answered this on the Toaster here ). But to see these codes, you will have to get a Port 80 diagnostic card.
