Why does the monitor fall off on Orange PI?

Good day, fellow villagers! I recently bought myself an Orange Pi, uploaded the Lubuntu image to a USB flash drive and connected the monitor via an HDMI to VGA adapter, a mouse, and a keyboard.
Everything seems to be fine, but the monitor, for some reason, turns off after 20 seconds. When I juggle the monitor to a hot one, the image is there, but, again, for 20 seconds.
What could be the problem?

Linux is furious that these adapters do not correctly give out information about themselves and you need to configure everything with pens Adapter from hdmi to vga in raspberry pi 2

I won’t tell you what the problem is, but there were special settings in raspbian for such cases, it might be worth digging in this direction

The problem may lie in the hdmi-vga converter itself, namely, in a very hot chip. After the failure of one converter, I bought another and sawed a hole in it for a chip, stuck a copper plate and installed a small cooler. It may look very collective, but a year has passed, the flight is normal.
