You need a device that can measure weight and transmit information to an external System.
Main characteristics:

1. Measured weight from 50g to 3kg.
   
2. Autonomous food.
   
3. External interfaces for transferring the result - bluetooth, wi-fi.
   
4. An important factor: small size - < 1cm in height, and in general, the smaller the better.

ps Search engine used. There are solutions based on arduino + HX711, but suddenly you know a more technologically advanced and miniature version.

The HX711 + ESP8266 + Micropython variant will probably be the champion in terms of price and ease of execution.
