Why does the MFP not work with a 4-core cable?
There was an incomprehensible glitch now.
The Kiocera M3540dn MFP is connected to the network via a 4-wire LAN cable. Doesn't ping, doesn't work (the laptop works fine with the same cable).
We include this cable in the switch, from the switch the cable to the MFP - everything works fine.
What is this phenomenon?

Possible reasons:
1) There is a problem with the printer settings.
Look at settings of the protocol TCP, DHCP.
Page 2-13 . Reset if any of these are set, or set the settings for the network you are connecting to.
2) The cable is more than 5 meters, crimped independently. The contacts are crimped correctly, but the cores are not in their pairs, the result is large signal attenuation in the case of a long cable.
