Why does the laptop not see the bootable USB flash drive?
1. I decided to demolish Windows, install Linux, and roll Windows from above so that it would be "just in case"
2. I did everything, booted from a USB flash drive, everything is fine, I install Linux
3. At some stage, the installer crashes and tells me about that the installation program crashed itself
4. I think, okay, apparently somehow the image was not recorded correctly
5. I overwrite the image
6. I stick it back into the laptop and understand that the BIOS does not see the flash drive at all
7. Okay, maybe the problem is in the BIOS, I went to turn off the security boot, change from yuefi to legacy
8. the flash drive is still not visible
9. I recorded the image on an external hard drive, the same problem
10. Maybe the problem is in the image? I thought and went to roll the image of Windows onto a USB flash drive
11. I made sure that the matter is not in the image and not in the media
12. I'll go check whether the PC is booted from the USB flash drive, I'll write about the results later
The question itself is this: What should I do? Why doesn't it work....
Some information:
Notebook ACER ASPHIRE
BIOS: InsydeH2O 5.0
