Why does the laptop no longer turn on after connecting the charger?
The charger cable has been broken for several months now - in some places the cable sheath has melted and sometimes the cable can give out sparks. These sparks have never been dangerous and did not interfere with the work of the cable. I wanted to replace the charger, but while there was no money, I had to use this one. And then one day, the cable gave out a spark while it was inside the computer, that is, while it was connected to it. One small spark and the screen went out. Now the laptop does not turn on under any circumstances. What do you think happened and how can it be fixed?

Remove the battery, insert it again, the CR2032 battery too (this is very unlikely to be connected, but still), I hope the battery is charged (try to still connect another PSU), then disassemble and diagnose the power circuits, first it’s good to look for the motherboard circuit and service manual, but if they are not there, then in a laptop it is still not as difficult as, say, in a phone.
Well, theoretically, electromagnetic interference from sparks, or a power surge could disable the PMIC (power controller), laptops come across various power “jambs”, but usually it doesn’t happen like you described.
