Why does the Internet not want to work, although there are pings?

Hello!
On the server, the user launched a script sent by mail. This script, without thinking twice, archived shared folders, 1c and other databases with a password. An inscription appeared - tell me by mail what and how much is archived, I will send you a password from the archives. Daily backups were made, I restored everything I needed and deleted all the archives. Passed avz4. He didn't find anything very suspicious.
After that, I can not crawl on the Internet in the browser. Pings work, tracing too. All other computers on the network are working properly.
I asked this question in the topic about viruses, they launched various diagnostic programs there. There is nothing more to clean up, the virus is no more, there are also no consequences. They said that the problem is with the OS and downed settings (cleaning avz4). More specifically:
1) automatic correction of SPI/LSP
settings 2) reset of SPI/LSP and TCP/IP (XP
+
)
settings restore work through the browser. Maybe someone has ideas?
UPD:
Uploaded firefox portable. Works great. So it's not about the drivers, setevushki, protocols.
