Why does the explorer hang tightly when I press RMB on “open with”?

If I click on any RMB file, hover the cursor over "open with", then the explorer freezes, does not respond to commands, the start does not open, etc.
It is fixed only by unloading through the Task Manager
What should I do?

It's not a fact that this is your case, but practically I saw such an effect when a "broken" item appeared in the context menu. Either the corresponding program was somehow incorrectly deleted, or something else was done, but the menu opened with a huge delay.
Google where these menus are stored or a software that can edit them, and see if there is anything superfluous / incorrect.
