Why does the countdown before checking the disk start from the standard 10 seconds?

After restarting win 7 professional disk check started. But the timer began to count from 7 seconds, and not from 10, as it should be. Distribution is the same as before. Since then, the system has been reset, but the countdown is always from 7 seconds.
What could be the reason?
