Why does the component template crash?

Hello!
I copy the component template, style it, then at some (absolutely arbitrary) moment, it again flies to the default one .. how to overcome this?
Bitrks - I don't know what to call it ...

first, move the component template to local or to the folder with templates - this will protect against overwriting during updates. then check everywhere whether the cache has been reset and updated, Bitrix sometimes suffers from this, and make sure that you yourself do not overwrite when updating the file.
