Why does the browser ask for proxy authorization - login and password?

I set a proxy - through the Internet settings
Next, I open the browser - it displays a window like this

Well, it seems logical
I'm trying to automate the process of installing a proxy with a login and password
To set a login and password
, I use Credentials Manager (just an example from the Internet)

add to Generic (picture from the Internet )

where the first field is my proxy address
and then login and password
it asks for login and password when starting the browser

Why is that?

The browser uses its own proxy access system. Set your password there.

Save the password from the proxy in the browser as a regular password from the site.
