Why does The Bat show me all mail on restart even if I delete all mail from there?

I select the folder all mail, click clear the folder, there are 0 letters in the folder, and if I go to The Bat after a while, the folder all mail will again contain all the deleted messages, how can I delete them all the same so that The Bat would have them did not upload?
