There is mail on the domain connected to pdd.yandex.ru for a long time. It was
necessary to add a new mailbox, they mixed up the Yandex account from which mail was managed on this domain and accidentally untied control from it, then returned it back.
Mail is picked up by several users at once through Outlook 2010 using the POP3 protocol. After the described manipulations, Outlook took all the letters in the Inbox folder as new and starts receiving them all.
The problem is that over the years there have accumulated more than 80,000 letters for many gigabytes.

How to cancel receiving old emails in Outlook? Can someone suggest a solution.
In the web interface, all letters were marked as read, but this does not help.
