Why does swiper.js only work when run from a live server?

I added a slider to the site using swiper js, but if you run index.html from a folder, the slider is not displayed correctly, it is displayed only when launched using the vs code: "live server" extension, please tell me how this can be fixed, swiper added with cdn scripts
