Why does printing from Java to a printer with settings - 'Print directly to the printer' not work?

Good afternoon!
I have a CT-S801 printer, when I print to it through the spooler everything is fine, if I want to print directly (in the settings I specify - Print directly to this printer), then the following error appears:

I tried to take the reference code from Oracle for printing, docs.oracle.com/ javase/tutorial/2d/printing/exampl... same error. I suspect that the matter is already in the printer or system settings, but I don’t know where to dig further. Tell me please.
UPD: Direct printing is needed, because feedback is important to me, to know whether the print was successful or not, when printing on the spooler, the system returns success after everything has gone to the spooler.
