Why does PHPStorm hang when working with MySQL database?

Hello! For some reason, all operations are very slow (or rather, do not occur at all) in PHPStorm 2017.1 related to the MySQL database. First, I wait a long time, then a window appears asking you to enter a username and password, I enter it, everything works, and then again the same thing (at best, sometimes nothing appears at all). I ticked the box next to Remember in the password window.

After entering the password, the operation is performed, in the Event Log I see:
