Why does Photoshop CS6 (Mac OS) open the same picture?

Every time I launch Photoshop, it opens with an image already in it. Tried clearing the flash cache, didn't help. Why is this happening and what can be done? This interferes with the work a little, since it opens more slowly - the picture is large.
