Why does my MacBook Air see the USB microphone but not record sound?
MacBook Air 2017
USB Microphone Trust GTX 232
System Preferences -> Sound Audio
input device selected (GTX 232), there is an option to adjust the sound (volume slider), but there is silence on the volume bar.
The Voice Recorder program records sound from an external microphone, but if you connect a USB microphone, then after clicking on Record it freezes and after 20-30 seconds ends an empty recording.
I tried to connect a microphone to the MacBook Pro, everything is in order.
