Why does my laptop shut down under load?

Hello!
There is a laptop Acer Aspire 7750G. If you charge it off, then the charging light is on and everything seems to be fine. If you turn it on and start using it while charging (under load), the charging light starts flashing and after a while the laptop turns off. That is, there are some problems in the power supply chain.
What initial diagnostic steps can be taken to more accurately determine the malfunction? And is there any way to fix it yourself? I have little experience in repairing phones and some equipment, but I do not do this profile. I would be grateful for any answers!
UPD: Thanks to everyone who tried to help, but is no longer relevant. One screw failed me. I freaked out and made a hole through the laptop with a perforator ...) I will mark the most complete answers in my opinion with solutions.

Well, for starters, it’s standard to change the thermal paste and blow through everything that is blown. Because spontaneous shutdown under load is one of the protective features against overheating.
You can look at the temperature with some program - and if it is higher than the nominal values \u200b\u200bfor the processor - it's time to change the thermal paste.
Next - what happens to the computer if you completely pull out the battery - when powered from the mains? Also turns off? Change the thermal paste and blow it out. If not, then the jamb is in the battery, you need to change it. The model is old, I have already changed the battery three times on my almost similar 7740G.

I know the reason for the shutdown on Acer laptops.
There was a similar beech. Under load, it turned off, worked, worked, and then turned itself off. I thought for a long time and found the answer in overheating of the processor.
The fact is that on many Aser models, more often than top models, there is a powerful processor, such as an i5 with a high frequency of 3.4 Hz - and under load it heats up to a peak of 105 C and turns off.
I found an interesting solution, I lowered the processor by 20%.
(Control Panel => Power Options => CPU Power)
And the laptop has been running for a year without problems. It took a couple of days to think carefully about how to solve this problem!

Good day!
I have the same problem. Acer Aspire 7750G. Turns off when loaded.
What I did:
1. Completely disassembled, blew, replaced the thermal paste
2. Pulled out the battery (it still did not hold a charge)
3. Lowered the processor by 20%
Bottom line:
There is overheating randomly. The laptop is on a stand, but the effect of it is not great.
I use my own power supply. Never changed.

Give me ideas, what else can be done to understand what the problem is, to understand the reason for the unstable work?
I understand that the laptop is old (I bought it in December 2011), but it hurts dearly to me) I will
consider any advice and suggestions!
Thank you in advance for your time!

Guys, I have the same problem with a Lenovo laptop and not in DotA, but the same in a demanding game. After reading something, I conclude - This is not the software of the laptop manufacturer, the reasons: 1- Possible overheating, but now the laptop is off. when it stopped charging the battery. 20 minutes after turning off the charging, although the battery was charged when the laptop was turned on. , 2- There is an option, This is SOMETHING SOFTWARE, you need to reset the BIOS to the factory settings, now I'll do it while I'm working directly from the network. If it helps, I’ll unsubscribe during the day, if not, then Overheating or Battery connector (replacement of the battery is required), but it’s worth checking how securely the battery connector sits on the mat. board.
