Why does my computer restart when playing Minecraft?
Good afternoon!
The essence of the problem: when you play Minecraft (the game is minimized or the game itself is in progress, it doesn’t matter), the computer freezes and reboots after a while.
Computer: Intel Core i5 760, 16GB RAM, GeForce 560Ti, Smartbuy 60GB SSD, Windows 10 x64

In general, the problem is solved!
I ran a series of tests, booted from the live image, tested all the disks, RAM, OS for problems, everything is clean and clear. I put a spare hard drive on it, rolled win10, firewood, java and main on it, even on pristine Windows the problem manifested itself, I decided to check it in order to completely eliminate the fault of the OS.
As a result, a friend came to me the other day, asked me to check his new power supply, well, I connected a multimeter to my computer, to the power supply, everything is fine, we decided to check it in the load, launched a couple of games and turned on minecraft for fun, surprisingly, in an hour The problem did not appear in the game, after which I told a friend about my problem and asked me to leave the PSU for a couple of days. As a result, minecraft worked in a heavy assembly with mods, maximum graphics settings and in a world with a good load, left it running for 8 hours (didn’t plan for so long, it just happened) and there was no problem.
I returned his power supply to a friend, ran to the store and bought myself a new one, now I'm sitting with a satisfied mug and playing.
To be honest, I didn’t understand why the old PSU behaved this way when working with the mine, maybe it just worked out its resource, since it will soon be 10 years old, at least this is the only objective reason that I can see, but I also do not rule out another factor.
Many thanks to everyone for their help in solving this problem, in the future if someone else has a similar experience, I hope that this solution will also help to deal with the situation.
Thanks to!
Well, judging by the fact that before loading it does not write anything special to the log (errors of the critical level), the problem, I think, is in the hardware. It's hard to be more specific. The standard procedures for checking the RAM and the system as a whole, I think, can be carried out and then already think about what and where to shove
My friend has absolutely the same situation, only the other way around - when NOT loading the computer, that is, when it works with documents, when it sits on the desktop, etc., the computer constantly freezes tightly. I told him that it was either in the RAM or in the hard drive. You need to change and the problem should disappear. But he doesn't have much money so he lives with it)
