Why does modx only show images in the file tree?

Having a problem that is somewhat similar to The modx file tree does not see files?
The file tree only displays images (jpg, png). File Systems doesn't show anything at all.


For example, folder 1c contains a lot of XML.

At once I will tell that:
- With the rights everything is normal. They cost 777. And files are also uploaded through the interface without problems, with any extension, they can be seen on ftp, but only images are displayed in the tree.
- I checked the paths in the config - everything is correct.
- mbstring is installed
- The language in the file name does not matter, only the extension. privet.jpg and hi.jpg are shown, but privet.xml and hi.xml are not.
- I cleared the cache, both through the admin panel and through the cache folder

Tell me, please, what could be the problem. Previously it was possible to view all files
