Why does linux say I've already logged in?

Welcome all.
Vps, which is only a couple of weeks old, I start a new user in webmin, log in via ssh and see:

Last login: Wed Jul 20 19:32:57 2016 from 10.11.0.11

What does the system mean? How can this even be?
