Why does Linux only show half a screen?
Good afternoon!
I put Linux on HP monoblock.
Tried Debian and Ubuntu latest stable versions.
From the very beginning of the installation, the screen is split horizontally into two even halves, the entire image is distorted and compressed into the upper half.
I updated the drivers for IntelHD from the site (I ran the deb through the package manager) - it did not help.
Windows is installed normally.

You can try to twist xrandr, but there you need to read the man for a long time and thoughtfully. Although the necessary functionality seems to be there.
I also bought an acer monoblock and nothing at all is put on it except for Windows, in general, monoblocks are a hat
