Why does Linux mark text files as executable on ntfs partitions?
Didn't notice this before. Now, when opening any file, a warning appears - that the file is executable (this is only on ntfs partitions). Of course, you can remove this flag recursively, but this will not solve the problem, because if you unpack text files from any archive, this flag is set on the files automatically. I did not change the mount options, they are by default.
Question: why is this happening and how to solve this problem?
System - Linux Mint 19.3
