Why does js code not work in safari, what could be the reason?

Works in all browsers, even IE8, but for some reason some code and some work. What could be the reason?

I think the reason may be in the gasket between the chair and the monitor.
The fact that the code works "even in IE8" tells us nothing. In IE, the correct display of layout suffers, not javascript.
