Why does it take so long to print from a terminal server?

Good day.
There is a terminal server, it has both 1c (accounting) and software that generates documents for printing using LibreOffice. That is, when you click the Print button in the program, the LibreOffice window (s) opens, from which you have to directly print documents.
The remote office connects to the terminal via mobile Internet, which is constantly jumping, ping is from 250 to 1000.
"Surfing" on the terminal is quite tolerable, there are no special brakes.
Printing documents from 1s is no different, as if we were on the same local network with a terminal server, clicked Print, and after a few seconds we received a paper document.
But from LibreOffice, on the contrary, from the moment you click on Print until the first sheet is released, it can take from 1 to 3 minutes. It seems that the text editor itself sends much more information to the printer than the same 1C.
At the same time, I tried to save documents, their size is small, up to 150kb, which is not stressful for a mobile network.
Where to dig? How can the situation be corrected? Save files and print them from the workstation - don't suggest :)

Check that ms easyprint technology is working. As a rule, it increases the printing speed and allows you not to install printer drivers on the terminal server.

As I understand it, your printers are mapped to the RDP server from the client's computer.
1. Install the drivers on the RDP server for all printers that are installed on the client.
2. It is advisable to remove printers on the client that are disabled or unavailable at the time of connection to the RDP server.
