Why does it ask for a password to mount a network drive?
Hello.
In the policy, I specify the script in Startup, in the script there are a couple of connections to the network share as disks: net use P: \\netshare\foldername\
Then I make a copy from P to the local machine.
And the script stops at the request for a password to access \\netshare\foldername. Under a normal user, the folder is mounted without asking for a password.
Any domain user has the rights to read and copy from there.
I believe that with Startup, the script is executed in the context of the local machine, which does not have permission to read network shares.
Am I moving in the right direction? Or the root of the error with the password request should be looked for in the rights?

If you connect in "Computer settings", then you need credits in the script, or access to the share for Authenticated users.
