Why does importing from Illustrator into After Effects import text instead of an image?

I downloaded an illustration file from freepik, the most common .ai, sorted it into layers, import it into after effects - and instead of a picture, text. In the file itself, there is no text layer at all, so it’s not even clear where it comes from. Maybe someone had something similar?

Immediately after the first line, do
it and see what's in the console (F12)
