Why does hardware acceleration blur the image? The picture is blurry...

Hardware acceleration itself does not blur anything, if there is blur, then this very blur is enabled (most likely it is smoothing so that there are no “steps” in the picture), at low resolutions this becomes a “blur” of the picture.
