Haven't you noticed yet that most of the services on this planet use mobile and desktop versions instead of one responsive one? Over the question "Why" I propose to think for yourself.
When adaptive on a mobile phone, extra resources will be loaded, extra blocks will be displayed, etc.
Because instead of adaptive fonts, it is useful to develop separate functionality in general. Since on a computer I navigate with a mouse or hotkeys, and on a phone with a touchpad.
Setting up a universal adaptive site means constantly making compromises to the detriment of functionality, convenience (and traffic is not the last moment).
