Why does Google map scale go to zero?

Hello, I inserted a Google map and placed a route on it -> everything works, the map, regardless of the scale set, adapts so that the entire route is visible within the block
The map in my project should open in a pop-up window, and apparently due to the fact that it is located on a hidden layer when the page is loaded, it appears in the window with the World scale (the route is built correctly in this case). How to deal with it?

Initialize the map only after opening the modal. Why do you form it before that, if it is hidden? This is not optimal in terms of load and clumsily works.
