Why does Google give a clone of the site above the original site in the search results?
Hello.
A few months ago, our site was completely copied with all the pages and directories (including the domain, only with a different zone). Yesterday we noticed a sharp drop in traffic, after a little analysis of the situation, we came to the conclusion that the drawdown is related to the removal of the original site from the search results with the addition
"We have hidden some results that are very similar to those already presented above (21).
Show hidden results."
When clicking on Show hidden results, the original site appeared, which is very strange, because both sites have the same titles, description and keywords, can't Google tell the original site from the fakes? Has anyone encountered a similar problem and maybe found a solution? Thanks in advance to all who respond.

You have a case suitable for DMCA, on this page you can file a complaint: https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/11...
And the site with copied data above may be due to the greater "trust" of the search engine in it. This can be done by links, the age of the domain itself, and other factors.
