Why does Google Chrome incorrectly highlight the selected block in DevTools?

It can be seen from the screenshots that if you open Developer Tools and select a block, the selection moves out. The same thing happens with autocompletion.

The problem is not in layout. this behavior is observed on any site. By and large, I'm just wondering, am I the only one suffering from this problem? =)

Hello!
What version of Google Chrome do you have? When did this appear?
Try another Chromium-based browser (Yandex / Firefox / Opera).
If the problem persists, uninstall all Chromium-containing software and reinstall. If everything is already bad, try something not on Chromium (MS Edge)
