Why does Excel print sheets into several PDF files and not into one?

There is an excel file that needs to be "printed" to PDF. I select the required sheets (2-4), send them to a PDF printer - I have already tried everything, as a result, each sheet is printed into its own file, although all should be printed into one. And this problem is only with one file. What can be wrong? How to fix it?

The "microsoft print to pdf" printer doesn't do what you want it to do.
You can do it easier in Excel, click save as pdf > Options > Publish Entire Workbook > Ok
p/s/ I have office 2016, but this feature should be in earlier versions.
