Why does elasticsearch crash?

VPS on Ubuntu server 20.04, elasticsearch is periodically killed.
There is no pattern, the server is not loaded, purely test. The last time it fell a week ago, I launched it, it fell again yesterday.
According to the log, I do not see how to determine the cause. I looked in the logs /var/logs/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.log and there is nothing. Where else to look?

look in /var/log/syslog - maybe there is not enough memory and the system is killing elastic.
