Why does editing through the icon in the Total commander panel not work?

cm_List works through the same panel, opens the same file in the lister, but Edit does not work, writes "No file selected". for example, txt files are also edited through the button on the panel, the associations are configured, through F3 and F4 when you click on the html file, the code editor opens, but it is not through the panel.
