Why does bootstrap show crooked website in iphone?

I understand layout using bootstrap, bugs got out when viewed in iphone - the white background is not shown for the entire width of the screen. What am I doing wrong and how to fix it?

Because the layout is full of rubbish. Study the bootstrap grid carefully. where do you get the span12 classes from, if there should be col-md-12, etc. Here is the documentation getbootstrap.com/css/#grid
